Primary Job Duties: Provide high quality technical assistance/service to current ImageNow customers during the upgrade process to new software versions. Interact with and troubleshoot a variety of database platforms and operating systems ranging from Unix, Linux and Windows to SQL Server, Oracle and Ctree. Programming projects include multiple self designed/developed applications (in both C# and C++) to provide efficiency over current processes.

Primary Job Duties: Designed and priced the production environment for the company web site, requiring a highly available, scalable, fault tolerant configuration utilizing both Windows and Linux. Designed and implemented a Linux based intranet, forum and web site for company communication. Implemented bug tracking and source control for company developers. Implemented Nagios and Cacti monitoring tools to maintain 24 hour system health and status on all machines. Purchased and configured company equipment for employees. Primary Job Duties: System administrator that oversaw three major Tucson hospitals including St. Mary’s, St Joe’s and Holy Cross. Maintained mission critical applications that facilitated the function of patient records and various data flow on multiple platforms including, Unix/Linux (Solaris, AIX, RedHat), Windows. Monitored network integrity and performed backup operations both manually and via Nagios, IPmonitor, Veritas/Veritas NetBackup, HBO, Global Console and various custom developed applications. Managed nightly data processing for physician billing, patient records and various other medical information using the Meditech integrated software solution.

Primary Job Duties: Lead Technician that oversaw a team of individuals focused on diagnosing warrantee covered, on and off-site customer PC hardware and network issues. Managed the in/out flow of equipment needed to complete repairs in a timely and organized fashion. Worked with clients on a daily basis to debug network degradation and failure, hardware issues/configuration, custom computer building and purchasing and remote PC repair. Designed and developed a Windows C++/WxWidgets GUI application for Perceptive Software, Inc. that transformed a variety of scattered batch processes into a unified GUI based software application. The application is used during environment reviews to gather customer information before an upgrade can be performed.

Designed and developed a C# GUI application for Perceptive Software, Inc. that enables faster communication to customers of updates made in the ImageNow application that effect outstanding and relative support issues.

Designed and implemented the hardware, configuration and development of an internal departmental web site for CSC, charged with displaying/maintaining important information while providing an avenue for converting hand written tasks into dynamic web based user interactive solutions. This system is used to help manage the flow of inter-departmental information, provide an efficient means for large data storage/interaction, and keep accurate records on hardware/applications as they are installed or decommissioned.

Developed and implemented the intranet for ConsumerMED, Inc.

Provide forum moderation on a daily basis for Ubuntu Linux (http://ubuntuforums.org), the fastest growing Linux flavor currently available. Ensure quality interaction between forum users while helping to supply relevant support on Ubuntu specific issues.

Currently host and maintain a web site and forum used by friends, family members and the general public on a daily basis aimed towards providing instant communication of a vast amount of information.
